SIGBPS AOI: Managing Software Development Processes

Track Description:

Adapting and following appropriate software development processes have widely been considered as critical for the success of software projects. Software projects face numerous issues pertaining to requirements management, requirements traceability, software process tailoring, and need for agility. Following suitable software processes while developing the ability to meet rapidly changing business needs has become critical. Also, alternative approaches such as crowdsourcing and product family development raise novel issues. New contexts such as developing software solutions for the base of the pyramid (BOP) require unconventional approaches. We invite papers that provide novel theoretical and practical insights on various aspects of software development processes. Qualitative, quantitative, design science, and conceptual studies are welcome. Topics of interest for this track include (but not limited to) the following:
